"Privacy in Cyberspace"
Privacy is important to a lot of people which is why I think some people fear technology. We lose that privacy and a part of ourselves ends up being lost with it.

It?s amazing how a person can create a character online and live as that person only online. Living a double life! In ?The Appended Subject,? Jennifer Gonzalez discusses racial identity and relations of power. I read an article on xanga.com that had discussed second life and other online games. A survey in the article wanted to know if gamers thought that their ?virtual friends? were better than their ?real life friends.? Forty- percent of men and fifty- three percent of women said that their ?virtual friends? were equal to or better than their ?real life friends.? People create this character and portray someone that they are not. In the end some people take these online games too seriously and it can end up having an affect the relationship that exists in their personal lives.
